What is Shatnez?

BS"D
Shatnez is a prohibited mixture of wool and linen fibers mentioned in our holy Torah.
“A garment of mixed fibers – shatnez – shall not be draped upon you” (Vayikra 19:19).
“You shall not wear mixed fibers, wool and linen together” (Devarim 22:11).
